Welcome to Katz Piano Studio Online!

Welcome to all of you who are visiting this website for the first time. I hope you will take a few minutes to enjoy the students’great performances. Also, read about some of my students’ outstanding musical achievements on the Student Achievements page. They are incredible children!

I started teaching private piano lessons in Independence, Raytown and Kansas City, MO in 1976.  I attended the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri - Kansas City from from 1979 through 1984.  I received my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance in 1984.  I can truly say that teaching piano and music theory to children is not just a vocation, it is a calling. If you would like to read more of my curriculum vitae, or more about my studio and teaching philosophy, please click here for more Studio History.

Finally, congratulations to all of my students for a wonderful performance at their annual Spring Recital. I am proud of each and every one of you. Enjoy watching and listening to yourself on-line! I would like to thank all of the great parents who oversee daily practice and for supporting your children’s musical education.
